The Carlson Towers, Plymouth, Minnesota

The Carlson Towers (601 and 701) were completed in 1989. The architectural firm responsible for the Towers was BWBR. If you drive around Plymouth or on 494, the Towers jump out at you as a dominant feature of the local suburban environment.
There is a large green area around the Towers, as you can see from these pictures approaching the Towers:

The towers themselves reflect the period that they were built in, one which looked back to the 1920's quite heavily.
